All over internet now you can find really neat and cool recipes for BBQ or grilling that you just never thought of on your own. Well here is a fantastic recipe on Grilled BBQ Watermelon Skewers. Yes you heard me right…. Watermelon.  This is and irresistible barbecue recipes that is going to leave everyone in awe.

I tried this one a while back and oh my goodness, absolutely delicious. It is something different so it is a welcomed change to the usual BBQ meals.

My youngest son, who now is a young adult has been a Watermelon fanatic since he was a young child. I told him about this recipe and strangely enough he was very put off on the idea.  I told him he had to give it a try and finally he agreed. Of course as the items were being cut up I had to continually give him trouble for taking pieces of Watermelon.

After it was all said and done and the skewers were assembled with half the amount of Watermelon that I cut up (my son ate the other half while I was cutting), On the grill these beauty’s went.

Wow the smell that went through the air was amazing. Then they were done. Oh my goodness, I don’t even have words. They were absolutely delicious! Even my son said that they were probably the best BBQ dish that he had ever tried. Give them a try as I am sure you wont be sorry.
